The Brisbane Relief Hub provides a range of services to help you at times of need. These include:
The Brisbane Relief Hub also offers a range of activities and groups, including social, educational and therapeutic groups including BBQs, expressive arts, budgeting and mental health.
This service can offer:
No appointment is necessary, but to be eligible for the service you must provide proof of low income (health care card or pension card; or a bank statement or payslip; or a refugee card or other proof of low income) and proof of identity, such as a photo ID or two forms of non-photo ID.
Since 2005, Community Meal has been serving people facing times of hardship. Food is supplied by OzHarvest and Foodbank, and is supplemented by resources from Wesley Mission Queensland.
The Community Meal service provides three key programs:
*On Wednesday nights, Community Meal provides a medical clinic with Sunny Street each week and technology support through 4Voices.
Community Meal is an initiative of the Albert Street Uniting Church.
