The Australian Government introduced a new Aged Care Act, which will commence on 1 July 2025. Whether you receive care at home or in an aged care facility, we’re here to help you understand how these changes will affect you or your loved ones.
Find out if you’re eligible for government-funded services using My Aged Care:
They’ll register your details and refer you to a local aged care assessment team.
If eligible for subsided aged care, My Aged Care will contact you to book a phone or face-to-face aged care assessment (previously ACAT & RAS) at your home or hospital to discuss your aged care needs.
If you register online, you will be prompted to apply online for an assessment.
