Drop in support

If you need immediate support, our drop in services across Brisbane can support you by providing access to much-needed supplies, including food and medical script subsidies. Restrictions to food parcels may apply and are dependent on availability. 

No appointment is necessary, however to be eligible for the service you must provide:

  • Proof of low income (health care card or pension card; or a bank statement or payslip; or a refugee card or other proof of low income); and
  • Proof of identity (a photo ID or two forms of non-photo ID).

Brisbane Relief Hub

The Brisbane Relief Hub can support you if you are in financial stress and lacking necessities such as food. When available they may be able to assist with toiletries, hygiene packs, baby bundles and pet supplies.

Balmoral Uniting Community Centre

The Balmoral Uniting Community Centre (BUCC) is a bustling hub of activity, a place to meet people, build connections and feel a part of something.

Community Meal in Brisbane

Community Meal is a free lunch and dinner service offered at Brisbane Relief Hub, in Fortitude Valley, for people doing it tough.

Since 2005, Community Meal has been serving people facing times of hardship. The Community Meal service provides meal on Sunday lunches, Monday nights and Wednesday nights. Emergency Relief also provides a free BBQ burger every Tuesday from 10:15am - 11:15am.
